Come in and see us

This is the bit we love. Bring in your dress, or a photo of it. Bring the suit, or just the tie. Bring the screenshot you’ve had saved on your phone for three weeks.

We’ll get the flowers out, hold them up against your colours, and work out what actually suits — not what looked good on someone else’s formal in another state. Sage against navy looks nothing like sage against black, and a photo on a screen never quite tells the truth. Ten minutes in the shop saves a lot of second-guessing.

Every piece is made to order, so the final price depends on the flowers and the design. We’ll always tell you the price before we make it — no surprises.

How it works

1. Come and see usBring your dress or suit, a swatch, or a photo. Tell us the occasion and the date.

2. We design it with youWe’ll pull flowers and ribbon against your colours and settle on a look, and we’ll price it there and then.

3. Made fresh, ready to collectWe make it as close to your event as possible so it’s at its best on the night.

Formal season gets busy, and so do wedding weekends. Get your order in as early as you can — if your date is close, ring us anyway and we’ll tell you honestly whether we can fit it in.

Common questions

How much do corsages and buttonholes cost?

They start from $65. Because everything is made to order the final price depends on the flowers and the design, and we’ll confirm it with you before we make anything.

How far in advance should I order?

As early as you can, especially through formal season when we take a lot of orders at once. If your event is coming up fast, call the shop on (07) 4941 6851 and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

Do I need to bring my dress in?

It helps enormously, but a good photo or a fabric swatch works too. Colours behave differently against different flowers, so anything that shows us the real shade is worth bringing.

Can you match a corsage and buttonhole?

Yes, and we’d recommend it. We design them together so the pair sit properly alongside each other in photos.

Will it survive the heat?

We make them as close to your event as we can and build them to hold up. If you’re worried, ask us about a dried or everlasting piece — it won’t wilt, and you get to keep it.

How do I look after it before the event?

Keep it in the fridge, out of the way of fruit and vegetables, and take it out shortly before you head off. We’ll give you the same advice when you collect it.
