A lot of our deliveries are ordered from far away — a partner on swing, family in another state, a workmate who’s heard bad news. If that’s you, here’s what you’re actually buying.
We’re a real shop with real florists, not a national relay service that takes your money and hands the order to whoever will take it. Your flowers are made here, in Moranbah, on the day they’re delivered. We know the streets, we know the camps, and we know how to get onto a mine site.
And if something goes wrong — wrong address, nobody home, a heat wave — we ring you. You won’t find out days later that your flowers cooked on a doorstep.
How to order
Where we deliver
Moranbah town — $12.50, same day when ordered before 4pm. Store pick up is free on the same cut-off.
Mine sites — ordered by 12pm the day before, delivered with Moranbah Couriers. We go to Grosvenor, Moranbah North, Caval Ridge, Peak Downs, Goonyella, Broadmeadow, Isaac Plains, Carborough Downs, Buffel Park Village, Eureka Village, and the Middlemount mines including Lake Lindsay, German Creek and Fox. Rates run from $25 to $145 depending on the site, because the fee covers the travel and the time spent clearing security.
Nebo, Coppabella and Middlemount townships — $50, ordered by 4pm the day before. Deliveries to these towns are safe-dropped if nobody is home.
Delivering to a mine site
This is the one that catches people out, so it’s worth spelling out. To get a delivery through site security we need the recipient’s full name and their site phone number. Without both, it won’t get in.
Orders also have to be in by 12pm the day before — earlier than the town cut-off, and a day ahead. If it’s for a birthday, work backwards from the date and get in a day early.

How late can I order for same-day delivery in Moranbah?
4pm. Order before then and it goes out the same day in Moranbah town. If you’ve just missed it, call us on (07) 4941 6851 — sometimes we can still make it work.
Can I send flowers to Moranbah from interstate?
Absolutely, and plenty of people do. Order online any time of day or night, or call us during business hours. We’re on Queensland time, and we’ll contact you if there’s any problem with the delivery.
How much does delivery cost?
$12.50 in Moranbah town. $50 to Nebo, Coppabella and Middlemount townships. Mine sites range from $25 to $145 depending on the site. Store pick up is free.
Can I request a delivery time?
Tell us and we’ll do everything we can to meet it. We can’t guarantee a specific time, because deliveries are run in the most sensible order for the day, but we’ll always try.
What if nobody is home?
Without an Authority to Leave we’ll leave a courtesy card and bring the flowers back to the shop, where they’ll stay cool and fresh until a re-delivery or collection is sorted. In our heat that’s far kinder than leaving them on a doorstep.
What if I get the address wrong?
We’ll ring you to sort out an alternative. A re-delivery fee may apply and can be paid over the phone.
